Musical Neuroplasticity

A unique workshop designed to help you learn how to overcome limiting beliefs, & toxic thought loops.

Create HEALTHY thoughts using scientifically proven neural plasticity techniques together with music.

IMAGINE if that ONE thought that is always holding you back from showing up in life the way you want to show up, didn't even exist anymore?

What if your self-hatred/anxious/jealous/comparing/hopeless/fearful/imposter-syndrome/unworthiness feelings

were something you automatically knew how to overcome? Can you imagine if you actually could learn how to respond, instinctively and automatically from the subconscious mind, in the ideal way you wanted to respond?

We all have thought patterns - reoccurring thoughts and feelings that we continue to live on a daily basis - even when we don't WANT to continue to experience them again and again. And whatever we plant in our minds, and nourish with repetition and emotion, grows stronger and harder to change.

Dr. Joe Dispenza says that our bodies literally become addicted to the chemicals and hormones that are released through toxic thought patterns, and our primal brains search for the familiar as a survival mechanism. But we DO NOT have to stay under the influence of the recurring patterns of our nonconscious mind. Scientists have proven that intentional neuroplasticity ("the ability of the brain to form and reorganize synaptic connections, especially in response to learning") can create a new BELIEF, to the point where it becomes an automated habit, in exactly 63 days!

WHAT IS NEUROPLASTICITY?

Neuroplasticity is the ability of neural networks in the brain to change through growth and reorganization. It is when the brain is rewired to function in some way that differs from how it previously functioned.

Neuroplasticity was once thought by neuroscientists to manifest only during childhood, but research in the latter half of the 20th century showed that the brain continues to be "plastic" and can change in adulthood and throughout our whole lives.

WHAT IS THIS WORKSHOP ABOUT?

  • Essentially, this workshop teaches you how to overcome limiting beliefs and toxic thought loops, and how to intentionally create HEALTHY thoughts using scientifically proven techniques of neuroplasticity together with MUSIC - which has been proven to accelerate and enhance the neuroplastic process!

  • Dr. Caroline Leaf, Dr. Lisa Wimberger (from the Neurosculpting Institute) and Dr. Joe Dispenza are some of the scientists whose findings and processes I have researched and incorporated into this course. These brilliant forerunners have already scientifically proven that their neuroplastic processes work and that it takes 63 days to create a new belief.

  • I have broken down their findings and paired their processes with musical exercises that are simple and fun! And so, in just 9 weeks, the thought or belief that you choose, will be AUTOMATED in your nonconscious mind!!! (How cool is that?! It becomes an instinctual, intuitive response that will continue to work and change your life, as this new belief produces fruit and manifests benefits for years to come on many different levels.)

  • This is NOT a workshop on positive thinking, because believe me, I've been discouraged many times trying to "just think happy thoughts" or "say positive affirmations" ...and ultimately I am always left thinking, "Why isn't this working? What's wrong with me? Why does it seem to work for this person, but not for me?"...which of course, isn't helpful at all.

  • Please Note: You do NOT have to be an experienced singer or musician for this class! No experience with singing is necessary and there is zero pressure or expectation to sing in front of a group. You can be on mute the entire time if you want! ;.) The purpose of the singing is to enhance and accelerate the neuroplastic process and is a private exploration for you as you discover and create your new beliefs!

WHY NOW?

Initially, I created this workshop as a second level or supplement to my Somatic Singing Workshop because the participants asked me for more! I actually feel there are a LOT of layers to Somatic Singing that I could go deeper into and share with you all...but the most timely and interesting one to me at the moment, and most importantly, the one I feel will be most beneficial for YOU is Musical Neuroplasticity!

Dr. Dan Siegel, author of 'The Whole Brain Child', talks about how when a young child is crying or upset, you can’t rationalize practically with her, but if you are aware of connecting emotionally first - right brain to right brain - and hold her, listen, and comfort, then afterwards you can start to help her tell her story, using both the left and right brain together. Only after that initial connection and comfort can you talk about behavior or solve the problem.

As adults we are no different. When we are emotionally triggered, we revert to emotional childhood and we need to connect first, and THEN think about solving the problem or reconceptualizing things within a story.

In the same way, that is how I think of these courses I've created - the Somatic Singing Workshop, at this point, represents the connect and comfort release, and the Musical Neuroplasticity Workshop is learning how to reconceptualize and manage our minds - both of these aspects are essential for healthy emotional and mental health.

If you haven't yet taken the Somatic Singing Workshop, don't let that hold you back from participating in the Musical Neuroplasticity Course. I will make sure you know the tools and information to equip you for success in this process.

WHEN WILL IT BE?

  • Saturdays starting February 4th - March 4th, and Saturday, April 15th

at 5 p.m. Berlin time CET/ 11 a.m. NYC time EST/ 8 a.m. LA time PST

  • The first two sessions (two weeks) will be learning the science behind the process as well as the actual steps and helping each participant really narrow in on the specific belief that they want to create for themselves.

  • Then we will begin the 63 day process together as a group, meeting on the 7th, 14th and 21st days of the neuroplastic process (which are significant synaptic strengthening days) and then reconvening on day 63, to celebrate and exchange experiences!

WHERE WILL THE COURSE TAKE PLACE?

We will meet on Zoom and then interact throughout the 11 total weeks in a private Facebook group.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The course will be $297 USD and will include a minimum of 12 hours of instruction, as well as the companionship and accountability with the group on the journey of 11 weeks.

WHAT IF I CAN'T ATTEND ALL THE DATES?

If you cannot attend one of the dates, I will record everything and you can watch the recording.

WHAT WILL THIS WORKSHOP DO FOR ME?

  • By the end of this course, you will have created a new belief - in place of an old limiting belief - that will become an AUTOMATIC and INSTINCTUAL  RESPONSE in your nonconscious mind.
  • Anxiety or hopelessness, feelings of unworthiness or fear that previously held you back in various areas of your life will be gone. You will literally be freed from the specific limiting belief that you choose to focus on in this 63 day time period.
  • After this course, you will have the tools you need to continue to build on this work, and moving forward in your life, you can continue to create as many new beliefs as you want.
  • People who have taken this course in the past have said that the belief they created during the workshop, CONTINUES to manifest incredible results and ramifications even two years later! The belief you are creating is like a strong tree planted in your nonconscious mind that will continue to bear fruit long after the course.
  • You are going to start to feel better, (and significantly so!) and you will notice a marked difference in the way you feel, think, and respond to situations as you put this into practice, and specifically on days 4, 7, 11, day 14, day 21, day 42, and day 63 you will notice striking results and feel more empowered and confident as you build your new belief.
  • You will experience more ease in general in your thoughts and emotions because what you will learn will help you manage your mind in every situation.
  • You will be able to transfer what you learn to: detox unhealthy thought patterns
  • create new thoughts and habits
  • learn new things more effectively
  • study or memorize new material for exams or presentations more efficiently
  • improve your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing
  •  extend your life expectancy.

Musical Neuroplasticity is personally the most powerful tool I have discovered and experienced so far that has made significant and dramatic change in my own mind management and I am very excited to share it with you!

I hope to see you this February in the workshop!

What people are saying about the Musical Neuro Workshop

"I joined JennyRebecca's (JR's) Neuroplasticity workshop following a music therapy workshop JR had hosted. Both workshops helped me get through some difficult emotions during a challenging time in my life and I am truly blessed and thankful to have had JR at my side. The neuroplasticity workshop provided evidence base data, which JR explained thoroughly and in great detail. The scientific explanations JR provided were impressive, well researched and put together with alot of time, effort and diligence.

We were a small group connecting from different parts of the world from different time zones. The synergy, the love and support created from the group became the source of motivation to follow through with the weekly tasks, knowing I was not alone. Hearing other people's stories, breakthroughs and results were truly inspiring and life changing too."

June, Berlin

"I really wanted to be part of the Musical Neuroplasticity workshop because I thought it sounded super interesting and was unlike anything I’ve ever heard of before. I like to try new things and when I found out it was kind of a self motivating class where you set your goals and you decide what it is you want to change in your life, that was very appealing to me because I’m all about change.

Before joining the course, I was really struggling with fear. I’m not used to living in fear, so it was really bothering me. I was afraid because I’m almost 71 years old and I have some physical challenges. My biggest joy in life after my children, is to travel and explore new places, but because of the physical challenges, I was extremely worried. My mind was telling me that I was maybe never going to be able to travel again. I had had a serious injury during the stay-at-home time in the pandemic, and my body just wasn’t healing the way I wanted it to heal. And my mind was in my way.

My big dream was to go to Turkey, to Istanbul. I had never been there before and so I decided when I did the Musical Neuroplasticity course, not only would I do the assignments to overcome my fear of my physical limitations, but I would do them in Turkish - singing in Turkish.

So what happened was, I realized first of all, that if I was going to take this class I really wanted to take it seriously so I made sure that I really did the assignments as correctly as I could, and you have to do it for many weeks for change to occur, and as a result, the fear started to disappear, and it was replaced by hope, by courage, and by trust in myself, and those were all the things I was wanting and singing about as well as and so it was also replaced with joy.

A year and a half later I DID go to Istanbul! And after I returned from Istanbul I posted the photos on Facebook. One of the women from our group commented, "You DID IT, Paula!"...So a couple years after I had had the course, there was still that connection!

I would say the best part of the process besides overcoming my fear, which was phenomenally big to me, were the relationships that grew in the course, some lifelong friendships.

I think people should take this course because it’s so unique. There really is nothing like it out there. And many, many kinds of growth and self-improvement courses that are offered are phenomenally expensive. This one was affordable, clear, and concise on how to use music to change your brain, and the rewards were huge. And I saw growth in everyone who took the course and that was fun to see too."

Paula, Cincinnati

"I loved the whole process of being able to embark on a journey in a collective with others, and the purpose of the course to me felt so exploratory and that appealed to me too - in the sense that we were all exploring and discovering together, which was really nice.

Prior to taking this class with JR, I was I was on on a path of deep transformation, and I feel like the course came at just the right time for me because I was struggling to re-conceptualize my idea of my own health.

I had been poisoned three years ago, and as a result of a really bad fluoride and quinone poisoning, I was bedridden. I was in a wheelchair for months, and then had to basically learn how to walk and move and do everything again. By the time JR had offered the Neuro course, I was in a place where I was I was a bit better, but I still had a lot of fear and limiting beliefs about how strong my body was or what I might be capable of doing moving forward, as a mother, as an artist, and a person living in the time of Covid, feeling really kind of weak and vulnerable. The course, really allowed me the opportunity to look at my own health, look at the limiting beliefs I had about it, and kind of break them open. And what I got from that course was the catalyst of starting it all (the healing and manifestation of the belief I created in the course).

Not only did I start to have more energy, I started to change the way I was talking with myself. And after being in my house literally for 2+ years, in my bedroom, I ended up spending 4 months traveling overseas this year with my family, in Italy at an artist residency, and in Costa Rica, I've reached a deep productivity level with my own work that I never thought I would have. Having the energy to do that again, I am just in a place of a deeper joy. Not just thinking about feeling joy but EMBODYING joy! It has been truly amazing.

The process of Musical Neuroplasticity is also really fun because you're in a place of self-discovery, and it’s not scary because you’re being held up by the group, which is wonderful. And there’s an element of joy that will just come up naturally, because you’re being asked to play in process.

And one other thing I want to add is that, before this course, but I really did not have the level of compassion for myself that is required to truly change the way in which I created thoughts for myself.

I thought I did, but I didn’t. And I learned that that’s a skill that we aren’t necessarily taught. I feel like JR has really zoned in on what that looks like, and has figured out how to articulate that, and empower people to really know what that can look like in changing their own lives."

(Continued...) "I can also say, you know the element of play, being able to sing through this process, as a singer, as an artist, was also extremely interesting and it brought me to a different place in my own psyche, which I thought was really cool. And when I look at the journaling that I did during the class, we’re now like 2 years out from that, but the actual thought processes that I wanted to change, really have changed! And not just the thinking changed, but embodying,  in my spirit, and in my physical body, everything that has happened. And it almost happened in a strange osmosis kind of way where I looking back, it wasn’t just the 60 days, it was like what happened after those 60 days. The benefits of the Neurocycling have carried on months later, a year later, two years later, and I can feel that the transformative shift that started then, has continued to transform. And the belief I created in the course is still manifesting.

The course was the catalyst my brain and body needed to push me forward into really believing,  truly believing, not just what I wanted to have, but who I actually am. It was amazing."
